Church ruins: Dörgicse consists of 3 smaller villages, Kisdörgicse, Felsődörgicse, Alsódörgicse, in Dörgicse there are 3 actually operating churches and 4 ruines. The largest church ruin you can find in Alsódörgicse, this is the Boldogasszony temple on the hill called Gernye. The next ruin is located in Alsódörgicse is Szent Péter temple, just next to the Dörgicsei Levendula Major mellett. The oldest ruin is in Felsődörgicse, the temple Szent Péter.
Stonebridge from the middle age: The bridge built in the middle age using stone was used by the legionaries of Rom according the to the locals.
Viewing platform called Kossuth on the Halom-hill: exceptional view on the Lake Balaton, volcanic formations and a geological study path can be found here, within 10 min walk from the guesthouse.
Dörgicse is the heart of the Balaton-Uplands, as also stated on the official website of the village. This is absolutely the case, since Dörgicse is exactly in the middle of the northern part of the lake, so plenty of well-known hiking spots or excursion sites can be reached within short period of time.
There are numerous hiking and walking routes near to us, so this is a perfect starting point also for someone looking for active recreation, planning walking, hiking or even to take a bicycle tour.
The pride of village is the Levendula Major, a lavender garden which is open through the whole year, but shows its most beautiful face from mid of June until end of July.
Kaáli Auto Museum: An exceptional collection of oldtimers cars and motorbikes can be visited since September 2020, prior registration is obligatory.

Zánka, Sajkod, Tihany, Balatonfüred Kisfaludy Beach, Eszterházy Beach. In case of bad wheather or off the season like in spring or autumn, you can visit one of the wellness hotels in Balatonfüred where the wellness section can be used also for external guests against a daily ticket.
