Information about obligatory register of guest personal data

DEAR GUESTS!
We would like to inform you that according to the actual legislation^*, starting September 1, 2021 service providers for accomodation are obliged to register personal data of guests as defined in the law as of arrival including scanning of the IDcard. Personal Data are to be registered in a central database (VIZA) hosted by the responsible state bureau.

Data to be registered:

• Name of guest, first name and last name;
• Name at birth;
• Place of birth;
• Date of birth;
• Gender of the guest;
• citizenship;
• Name of mother (if included in IDcard);
• Number and data of IDcard or passport;
• in case of guest from foreign country ^** number of visa or permit of residency date and place of arrival in the country.

Based on above, the guests are kindly requested to present their personal data by showing IDcard, driving licence or corresponding documents. Should the guests refuse to provide the necessary documents, the guesthouse has to decline to provide the service for accomodation. According to the respective law the service provider is allowed to request to IDcard of the guest, and the guest is obliged to provide. Guests are kindly ask to acknowledge this process! • Government Decree 235 of 2019 A turisztikai térségek fejlesztésének állami feladatairól szóló törvény végrehajtásáról;
• Government Decree 414 of 2015 A személyazonosító igazolvány kiadása és az egységes arcképmás- és aláírás-felvételezés szabályairól szóló.
